Description

Whisky PORT CHARLOTTE PMC 01 2013 Islay Single Malt Whisky, a whisky from the Cask Exploration Series (no caramel colouring, not chill filtered). This is the 6th edition. It was first aged in bourbon casks for 4 years and then spent 5 years in Pomerol casks.

In addition to the peat, there are notes of blackberries, plums and old leather. The barley used to make this single malt comes from 7 local farms on the Isle of Islay.
