Adriano Ramos Pinto's commercial genius quickly worked wonders. Very quickly he set up sumptuous offices where he received his customers and importers at great expense. He was the first to consider the commercial potential of Brazil. Ramos Pinto was so established there that he said to himself that in everyday language in Brazil, a basic Port was called Porto, but a good quality Port called itself a "Ramos Pinto". The Ramos Pinto house quickly became the owner of Quintas in the Douro Valley in order to have control over grape production and thus ensure the level of quality required by the house standard (Bom Retiro, Urtiga, Bons Ares, Ervamoira ). Nowadays, the Ramos Pinto house, belongs to the Roederer champagnes, this marriage between these two great names in wine allows Ramos Pinto to have the means of his ambitions.
