Description

MADIRAN L'Origine by family Laplace du Château d'Aydie 2020, a charming wine to discover. It's a far cry from the beasts of tannin that Madiran can easily offer us. You'll love this fine red wine from the south-west of France, with its lovely deep red colour and lovely aromatic complexity combining floral (violet) and fruity (blackberry and blackcurrant) notes. The finish is long, with hints of vanilla and pepper.

Cabernet Franc and Tannat are vinified separately and then blended to mature in vats for 12 to 15 months.
