Médoc Bordeaux Wines

The wines of the Médoc, located on the left bank of the Gironde River, are home to a multitude of prestigious appellations. It is a wine region in itself, as it is so vast, stretching over approximately 80 kilometers.

The Médoc appellations are Médoc, Haut-Médoc, Saint-Estèphe, Pauillac, Saint-Julien, Listrac-Médoc, Moulis-en-Médoc, and Margaux. These appellations are world-renowned for their red wines, made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grape varieties.

Médoc wines share a tannic structure, beautiful aromatic complexity, and great aging potential. The nose generally reveals notes of black fruits, including blackcurrant, red fruits, and delicate vanilla notes when the wine has been aged in oak.

On the palate, we love their power, their breadth, and their balance, as there's always a touch of finesse and a silky texture in these wines.

The limestone and clay soils of the Médoc give the wines their minerality and complexity.
