Marsanne by Gilles Robin 2021 – An Exceptional Rhône White Wine

Gilles Robin's Marsanne 2021, from the Collines Rhodaniennes, is a white wine that embodies all the richness and minerality of the wines of the northern Rhône Valley. This 2021 vintage, marked by sunny weather and cool nights, offers a pale golden colour and a complex nose combining aromas of white peach, acacia blossom, acacia honey and a touch of fresh hazelnut.

On the palate, the attack is round and creamy, with flavours of Williams pear, candied lemon and a hint of fresh butter. The finish is long and slightly salty, carried by a balanced acidity, ideal for accompanying oysters, sea bass fillet in lemon sauce or a goat's cheese platter. This wine, carefully vinified to preserve its fruit and freshness, is a perfect representative of Rhône white wines, where the purity of the fruit and the mineral structure harmonise perfectly.
