Description
Like its little brother, the Moon Harbour Pier 1 blended whisky, Moon Harbour Pier 2 is 100% French. This new opus is finely peated and matured for 2 months in casks. There is also an edition of this blend of pure malt matured in casks from Chateau Pipeau in Saint Emilion. This whisky is supplied in a case.
As with Moon Harbour Pier 1, Moon Harbour Pier 2 is a rather complex whisky that will delight amateurs and beginners in terms of tasting spirits. What sets it apart, however, is its peatiness, which can be felt first on the nose and then on the palate. The smokiness and creaminess make for a well-balanced tasting experience, with a touch of caramel on the finish for a long, lingering finish.
