The Signatory Vintage Ardmore 2013 Very Cloudy Highlands Single Malt Scotch Whisky perfectly exemplifies the philosophy of the independent bottler Signatory Vintage: to offer whiskies as close to their natural state as possible. Distilled in 2013 at the Ardmore distillery in the Scottish Highlands, this single malt is matured in bourbon casks before being bottled without chill filtration and with no added colouring. This production method preserves the essential oils naturally present in the whisky, explaining its slightly cloudy appearance, which gave the Very Cloudy collection its name.

On the nose, this expression reveals an enticing balance of yellow fruits, baked apple, bourbon vanilla, blond tobacco and a delicately peaty smokiness. On the palate, it offers a round, oily texture where flavours of liquorice, sweet spices, earthy peat and ripe fruit intertwine. The finish is long, lingering and characterised by notes of gentian, smoke and white fruits.
