Description
On the nose, aromas of smoked barbecue and cloves mingle with the freshness of butterscotch and orange peel. On the palate, a lovely blend of smoked wood, honey, spices, cooked pears and grilled pineapple explodes. A long, woody, caramelised finish.
This great name in Irish whiskies was originally created in 1782 by the Teeling family, and has been producing nothing but good whiskey ever since. The Teeling Whiskey Company was founded by Jack and Stephen Teeling in 2012. Initially, the brothers sourced their whiskey from Cooley, the former distillery of the family pioneer (the father). In June 2015, they set up in Dublin, the first distillery in the Irish capital in over 125 years.
