The twelve-year age statement reflects the maturation of the malts selected for the blend. Rather than relying on sweetness or a delicate profile, Big Peat focuses on the powerful character of peat smoke. On the nose, fireplace smoke and ash are joined by liquorice, roasted malt and clove.
