This Islay whiskey is finished in sherry casks, an Oloroso sherry. The nose offers notes of cocoa, smoke and a hint of fine peat. On the palate, this Smokehead Sherry Bomb reveals fruity notes linked to aging in sherry casks which harmonize very well with the peaty notes which are more easily expected. The immense complexity of this superb single, malt obliges us to also mention notes of spices, ginger, cloves, chilli and also an idea of ​​raisins marinated in amber rum.
