Located on the island of Martinique, the Clément distillery is renowned for its high-quality agricultural rums. The distillery was founded in 1887, in the heart of a sugar cane plantation. To this day, it still uses the same production process, i.e. ancestral and traditional distillery methods. Clément rums are also distinguished by their famous production of blue sugar cane spread over more than 160 hectares.

Rhum Clément Canne Bleue

This is a white agricultural rum produced in Martinique from blue sugar cane, the variety of cane emblematic of the Clément distillery. It is considered an agricultural rum because it is produced from sugar cane juice rather than molasses. The production process for this agricultural rum involves harvesting the sugar cane, pressing to recover the juice from the cane, fermenting the juice with yeast to obtain alcohol, distilling in copper stills and finally ageing in oak barrels. Clément de Canne Bleu agricultural rum is aged for a very short time to give it a lively flavour and bring out the aromas of the blue cane. Ideally served on its own on ice or in cocktails.
