Description

The 2019 vintage of Clos du Marquis presents an enchanting character

that reflects the sophistication of the great wines from the Saint-Julien region. Its color is deep, with a tint of violet.

The bouquet is simultaneously intense and aromatic

revealing complex notes of dark fruits such as blackcurrant, cherry, and blueberry.

On the palate, the wine unveils remarkable finesse, characterized by well-ripened tannins that maintain a pronounced presence, subtly veiled by a wonderfully prolonged finish on the palate.

The blend consists of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, and 7% Cabernet Franc.

Clos du Marquis is proudly owned by the Delon family, who also hold the reins of Château Léoville Las Cases in Saint-Julien, Château Potensac in the Médoc, and Château Nénin in Pomerol.

Note: The 2019 vintage of Clos du Marquis deserves a few years of aging to reach its full maturity.

If you choose to indulge in its flavors, we recommend decanting the bottle for at least two hours before tasting, allowing it to wonderfully complement your red meat dishes. For optimal enjoyment, serve it slightly chilled, around 16°C.
