HSE Rum finished in Rozelieures Whisky casks. Distilled in November 2013 and bottled in January 2021.

Description

HSE rum finished in Rozelieures whisky casks. This rum from Martinique is first aged in the traditional way for 6 years in oak casks, then the rum is transferred to a cask that has contained ROZELIEURES whisky.

The result is a rum with a beautiful nose evoking aromas of chocolate, dried fruit and citrus. The addition of Rozelieures gives notes of smoke and spice. On the palate, the rum is lively, with notes of roasted cereals evoking the Rozelieures whisky, followed by notes of exotic fruit, a gentle reminder that what we're tasting here is a very good old HSE rum.
