L’Hospitalet de Gazin 2020: a beautiful Pomerol from a superb year
L’Hospitalet de Gazin 2020 is the second wine of Château Gazin, a Pomerol renowned for its exceptional terroir. Made from a blend dominated by Merlot (90%), complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon (7%) and Cabernet Franc (3%), this wine expresses aromas of black cherry, prune, liquorice and a touch of cocoa. On the palate, it reveals flavours of ripe red fruit, vanilla and a hint of sweet spices, supported by supple tannins and a velvety finish.
The 2020 vintage, marked by a sunny summer and cool nights, offers a balanced, generous and highly accessible wine. Best served between 16 and 18°C, after a little decanting, it is the perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, dishes with sauce or creamy cheeses. A bottle that combines quality and immediate pleasure, reflecting the expertise and terroir of Pomerol.
