Description
The 2019 Vieux Château Brun is a Pomerol with beautiful aromas of red fruits, particularly cherry and raspberry, complemented by notes of sweet spices such as cinnamon and black pepper, and a hint of cocoa.
On the palate, the tannins of this organic Bordeaux red wine are supple and present, with red fruit flavors dominating, providing a sensation of sweetness and freshness. The spicy notes add a touch of complexity, while accents of dark chocolate and leather enrich the tasting experience. The finish is long and velvety, with hints of red fruits and chocolate.
This Pomerol red wine is ideal with red meat dishes such as beef or lamb. It also pairs well with mature cheeses and game dishes. Its tannic structure and complex aromas make it an excellent companion to gourmet meals.
This wine is made primarily from the Merlot grape variety, which brings notes of red fruits and plum, as well as Cabernet Franc, which adds aromas of raspberry and green pepper.
