Château de Sales 2020: a worthy representative of the Pomerol terroir

Château de Sales 2020 is a Pomerol produced on clay and gravel terroir, ideal for expressing all the finesse of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (25%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). This wine displays a complex nose of black cherry, blackcurrant, liquorice and a touch of truffle. On the palate, it offers flavours of ripe black fruit, chocolate and a subtle minerality, supported by mellow tannins and a velvety finish.

The 2020 vintage, marked by a sunny summer and cool nights, gives this wine a balanced structure and great longevity. Best served between 16 and 18°C, after decanting, it is the perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, dishes with sauce or creamy cheeses. A bottle that embodiesthe authenticity and expertise of Pomerol, combining power and finesse.
