Description

Château Vray Croix de Gay 2019 Pomerol is located between the finest crus of Pomerol. Since the 2013 vintage, the former winemaker at Pétrus has been on the board of this very fine château.

The estate covers 3.678 hectares and the vines have been grown organically since 2018. The 2019 vintage is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The wine was aged in 40% new barrels, 50% first wine barrels and 10% second wine barrels.

On tasting, you'll love the black fruit nose, which is confirmed on the palate. The terroir of Pomerol is fully expressed on the palate, with the wine oscillating between a very fine tannic structure and a great deal of suppleness.
