The palate is opulent and silky, the finish is long, powerful, concentrated, with hints of cocoa. The Domaines Rothschild took over this superb growth in 1990. Like La Conseillante and Gazin, the château lies between Cheval Blanc and Pétrus, and manages to marry their seemingly opposing styles.
