White Loire wine Domaine de Salvard

Cheverny Blanc is produced by Domaine de Salvard, a vineyard that now covers 40 hectares in the Loire Valley. This wine estate was founded in the 1900s when Maurice Delaille bought it. The estate exports a large part of its wine production, the majority of which is white Cheverny, which accounts for almost 90% of the total production of the Salvard estate.

Tasting the Cheverny Blanc de la Loire

Cheverny Blanc is a blend of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Chardonnay. This Cheverny white wine has an attractive pale white colour with an expressive nose of redcurrants and blackcurrants, with light spicy aromas. On the palate, this white wine has notes of exotic fruit with liveliness and roundness. Its texture is fresh, with minerality and lightness on the palate. It goes well with an aperitif, seafood or fish.
