Mont Damné is the only Sancerre produced by the Didier Dagueneau estate. The 2020 vintage is a great, very balanced vintage in Sancerre.
The color of this Sancerre produced by Louis Benjamin Dagueneau is gold. The nose is very aromatic and truly mineral with a very expressive lemon note. The palate is round and lively, with an almost saline and iodized mineral finish. The length in the mouth is impressive. The combination of a very beautiful vintage, a very beautiful terroir and a winegrower.
The Monts Damnés coast is a very rugged hillside in Chavignol with a south-southwest exposure, with Kimmeridgian marl soil (an amalgam of shell and clay).
From the 11th century, lords and notables were outbidding bids to own a plot of land.
