For this CLYNELISH 12 year old Special Release 2022 Highland whiskey in limited edition, the distillery has selected 12 year old whiskeys having aged in Bourbon barrels then in PX Pedro Ximenez sherry barrels (the best sherry). sweeter).

On this version you will particularly like the subtle harmony of notes of fruit, herbs and spices and oak. The texture is creamy and the PX finish has a lot to do with it.

The illustration chosen for this edition is the extremely rare Scottish wildcat, Felix Sylvestris which is the symbol of the distillery. It would have protected the whiskey barrels from freezing during a particularly harsh winter.
