The barley used to make this whisky is grown on the family estate, then transformed at the distillery through brewing, fermentation and distillation. The spirit is matured on site, making the whisky a clear expression of the producer’s field-to-bottle philosophy.
Distillation takes place in a Stupfler still, followed by maturation in several types of casks, including French and American oak. These casks contribute wood-derived aromas and help balance the natural cereal character of the malt.
