Description

Domain Gayda in the Languedoc

It was in 2004 that 2 Britons, Tim Ford and Anthony Record, with a passion for wine, created Domaine Gayda. Located in the heart of the Languedoc region, the estate now cultivates 90 hectares of vines around the winery. Gayda cultivates the region's emblematic grape varieties: grenache, syrah, mourvèdre, carignan, consault and merlo in agrilo-calcareous soil.

The Moscow Way

This is Domaine Gayda's finest cuvée, taking its name "Moscow" from the parcel's land register, and the road leading to it is therefore called Chemin de Moscou. The grapes for this cuvée are harvested and sorted by hand, with 73% Syrah, 20% Grenache and 7% Cinsault. The Chemin de Moscou cuvée is aged for 21 months in cask, which gives it its complexity on the palate.
