The old Beaujolais color of Jean Paul Brun is a brilliant red, the nose presents notes of raspberries as well as notes of toast and hazelnut. The palate is fresh and concentrated, the toasted notes are confirmed, the woodiness is fine and the tannins are supple.
Jean-Paul Brun has a very natural approach to wines, the vines are grassed, the phyto treatments are based on plants and minerals, these are often ancestral recipes. If I were a winegrower I would like to work like him ....
