Château Vessière Costières de Nîmes Organic Red Wine 75cl is an expressive French red wine produced in one of the southernmost appellations of the Rhône Valley.

Located near the Camargue in southern France, Château Vessière is a historic family-owned estate dedicated to producing wines that reflect the distinctive character of the Costières de Nîmes terroir.

The property has been passed down through generations of the Teulon family. Today, Vincent and Lucie Teulon continue this winemaking tradition while placing particular emphasis on environmentally responsible vineyard management.

The estate cultivates approximately 60 hectares of vines, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate and soils characterised by rounded pebbles deposited by the Rhône and Durance rivers.

These well-drained soils, combined with generous sunshine and local climatic influences, contribute to the development of ripe grapes while helping preserve freshness in the finished wines.

The Château Vessière red cuvée is produced from 50% Syrah and 50% Grenache Noir.

Syrah contributes structure, black fruit aromas and delicate spicy notes. Grenache Noir brings roundness, red fruit character and an appealing softness to the blend.

The estate follows certified organic farming practices and has also developed an interest in biodynamic viticulture as part of its broader environmental approach.

Winemaking focuses on preserving the natural fruit expression of the grapes. Tank maturation helps maintain the wine's freshness and approachable character without introducing pronounced oak flavours.

In the glass, Château Vessière displays a deep red colour. The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe red berries and black fruits, complemented by gentle hints of spice.

On the palate, the wine is generous and rounded, with supple tannins and a pleasantly balanced structure. Its refreshing character adds elegance to the rich Mediterranean fruit flavours.

The finish is harmonious, leaving lingering impressions of ripe fruit and delicate spices.

This organic Costières de Nîmes red wine is particularly versatile with food. It pairs well with grilled beef, roasted pork, Mediterranean vegetables, charcuterie and mature cheeses.

Serving it between 16 and 18°C allows the aromas to develop while preserving its refreshing balance.
