With Les Challeys 2024, Maison Delas offers an accessible and elegant expression of the Saint-Joseph appellation. This 100% Syrah cuvée reveals aromas of red and black fruits, notably blackcurrant, raspberry and strawberry, complemented by spicy and subtly oaky notes. On the palate, it combines fullness, fruit and structured tannins in a wine that is both full-bodied and elegant. A red wine full of character that will pair perfectly with a fine cut of beef or a slow-cooked dish.

Description

This red St Joseph les Challeys from Maison Delas is a brilliant ruby colour. The nose of this Saint Joseph is marked by fruity notes (raspberry, strawberry, blackcurrant) and woody aromas, as 30% of the cuvée is aged in wood. The aromas perceived on the nose come through on the palate, with a marked tannic structure and a full-bodied finish marked by spices and liquorice.
