Uby is a well-known winegrowing estate established in 1956 in the Côtes de Gascogne region of south-west France. Uby specialises in the vinification of white wines, rosé wines and sparkling wines. The 100-hectare estate cultivates many of the region's grape varieties, including sauvignon blanc, uni blanc, gros menseng, colombard and merlot. The different uby wines are characterised by a number and a label colour (uby 3, uby, 1, uby 4...).

uby N°1 is a white wine from the UBY winery, made from a blend of sauvignon blanc and gros menseng. Sauvignon Blanc is the dominant grape variety in this wine, bringing a great deal of freshness. On the nose, UBY 1 has aromas of exotic fruit, grapefruit and lemon. On the palate, citrus and exotic fruit come through, with freshness and a hint of acidity. Uby N°1 white goes perfectly with aperitifs, seafood, fresh goat's cheeses and mixed salads.
