Description

The dress of this Minervois la Livinière La Féline from Domaine Borie de Maurel is a deep purple with purple hues. La Féline represents well the style of Michel Escande wines, voluptuous and heady wines. the nose of the feline is intense and evokes black pepper, cumin, tapenade but also tells us about thyme, garrigue and ripe red fruit. The mouth of this red livinière minervois is fine and elegant with notes of sweet spices and morello cherry. The harvest is done manually and a destemming is carried out before a long vatting. The aging lasts 16 months, one third in Burgundy pieces and two thirds in vats. The filtration is very light.
