This Bourgogne Côte Châlonnaise from the Buxy cellar has a very beautiful red color, with ruby highlights, the nose opens on the typical red fruits of Pinot Noir (blackcurrant, morello cherry, currant) with smoky notes, humus and sometimes animal. Rich and complex, its texture is firm on soft and elegant tannins. Nice balance. Pinot Noir is the only grape grown for this wine. The vines are located between Buxy and Saint Gengoux the National and are generally in the middle of hillsides. The soils are shallow and well ventilated. The grounds are very stony, ideal for Pinot Noir. In the summer season, the stones preserve the heat, and restore it to the vine. These stones accelerate the maturity of the grapes.
