Description

This KORNOG whiskey finished in SAUTERNES barrels was chosen by Aël Guégan, the Master Distiller and Cellar Master of the Celtic distillery. He specially chose one of his best barrels and then gave it a finish in Sauternes barrels.

The color is a beautiful amber with yellow gold reflections. On the nose you will find the Kornog signature with peat present, saline notes which remind us that the distillery ages its barrels facing the ocean in Brittany, then the evolution of the nose brings us to fruity notes and a touch of fresh almond. On the palate, the salinity and peat are still present with a sweet touch that evokes honey and a slightly spicy finish that evokes ginger.
