Taste Bellevoye Prune, a French Whisky with an Old Plum Cask Finish

This plum-finished whisky is an original bottle from the Bellevoye distillery. It showcases French know-how, thanks to its blend of 3 French malts. This whisky is matured for 6 years, then blended and aged in old plum barrels for 3 months. The second maturation gives this whisky an extra sweetness and a crisp texture. The nose reveals hints of fruit, especially mirabelle plums, as well as plums and pears. The palate is thick with fruity flavours.

Founded in 2013 by two French enthusiasts, Alexandre Sirech and Jean Moueix. They were prepared to do anything to demonstrate French know-how and in particular the good terroir of France. Their aim is to make 100% French whisky. Working with other French distilleries as suppliers of raw materials, the whisky is then blended and finished in Charente. Bellevoye offers a range of whiskies demonstrating the very best that France has to offer, including whiskies aged in Sauternes and Saint-Emilion casks, as well as peated whiskies from Alsace. This exclusive whisky is served at the Elysée Palace.
