Le Pigeoulet des Brunier 2023 is a generous red wine from Vaucluse, produced by the Brunier family (owners of Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieux Télégraphe). Its expressive nose reveals aromas of garrigue, black cherry and spices, whilst on the palate it charms with its supple tannins, notes of ripe fruit and liquorice, and a fresh, delicious finish. Perfect with grilled meats or Mediterranean dishes, it is best served between 16 and 18°C.
Description
Le Pigeoulet has an attractive purple-red colour. The nose has aromas of cherry and strawberry as well as black fruit such as blackcurrant and wild blackberry, not forgetting notes of garrigue and spicy pepper. On the palate, this wine has a soft, fresh character with hints of fruit. The pleasure of this wine is instantaneous.
Henri Brunier is the creator of this lovely family story, which began in 1891. Located in the village of Bédarrides, which is famous today for having the south-eastern part of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. The Vieux Télégraphe estate and its associated vineyards, now run by the fifth and sixth generations of winegrowers, have been in existence for 125 years.They are now run by the fifth and sixth generations of passionate winegrowers, and throughout the years, the original philosophy has remained unchanged.
