Description

Château Dompierre Bordeaux wine by Michel Aroldi

A native of the Bordeaux region, Michel Aroldi quickly developed a passion for growing vines and producing wine. In 1993, he bought Château Plain-Point in Fronsac. After a few years at the helm of this château, Mr Aroldi decided to part company with it to make his dream come true, buying Château Dompierre with vines in the Médoc, Haut Médoc and Pauillac appellations of prestigious Bordeaux terroir.

Les Charmes Dompierre Red Wine

This is Château Dompierre's first red wine, made from a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot. All the grapes are harvested by hand in order to preserve the best grapes. After de-stemming, fermentation and vatting, the wine is matured for 12 months in French oak vats.
