Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2014 is a pure and powerful single malt, distilled frombarley grown on the island of Islay at the Rockside farm. Slowly distilled to capture all the richness of the barley, this non-chill-filtered whisky offers a generous nose of wild honey, heather, exotic fruits (pineapple, mango) and sweet spices. On the palate, it seduces with its creamy texture, notes of candied lemon and a mineral and slightly smoky finish.

Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2014: the expression of Islay

Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2014 is an exceptional single malt, made from100% Islay barley grown on the Rockside farm. Distilled very slowly to extract all the oils and fats from the barley, this 50% whisky is bottled without chill filtration, preserving all its power and character.

On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of wild honey, heather, yellow fruits (peach, apricot) and sweet spices. On the palate, its velvety texture envelops flavours of candied lemon, creamy vanilla and a hint of sea salt, typical of Islay. The long, mineral finish leaves a lingering impression of freshness and fruitiness.

This whisky is a tribute to the unique terroir of Islay, where the maritime climate and peaty soils give the malts a strong identity.
