OCTOMORE 16.2 70 cl is a heavily peated Islay single malt whisky by Bruichladdich.

This whisky is made from 100% Scottish Concerto barley harvested in 2018 and distilled in 2019.

It is aged for 5 years and matured in multiple casks, giving it a unique complexity.

Description

OCTOMORE 16.2 is a super peaty Islay single malt (101.4 ppm), produced by the Bruichladdich distillery on the island of Islay, Scotland.

This whisky is made from 100% Scottish Concerto barley and aged for 5 years in quality casks.
On the nose, it offers aromas of sweet smoke, caramel, dried fruit and spices.

On the palate, it is powerful and complex, with notes of candied red fruits, orange peel and warm spices, accompanied by a deep but well-integrated peatiness.

The finish is long and persistent, with elegant smoke and a spicy sweetness.
