Description

Château La Grille, an undisputed reference in the realm of red Chinon, is the result of harvesting and vinification by the Baudry-Dutour family, making it an essential part of the appellation. The vines, with an average age of 50 years, lend their maturity and depth to this wine.

 

Harvesting is carried out by hand, with meticulous attention. After two weeks of maceration, the precious juice is delicately separated from the skins before proceeding with its malolactic fermentation.

 

The wine's maturation period then extends for 12 months, half in barrels and half in tanks, contributing to its complexity and balance.

 

This red Chinon wine distinguishes itself with its intricate, harmonious character, elevated by spices.
