This fine wine merchant puts all the expertise he has acquired in the most prestigious Bordeaux estates to work for his Cheval Noir brand. The result is a formidable St Emilion, easy to drink and offering excellent value for money. The nose of thisSaint Emilion Cheval Noir is very expressive, with aromas of red and black fruit and cinnamon. On the palate, the tannins are present but supple. In 2008, the winery was completely overhauled and equipped with the latesttechnicalinnovations, such as gravity-fed transport to avoid over-crushing the grapes, and vibrating tables for quality sorting.
