Lafage continues to be an excellent vineyard. An excellent blend of Carignan, Syrah and Grenache, with fruity touches of cherry and plum. On the palate, the tannins are rather soft and round, and the wine has a medium persistence.

A family-run vineyard, Domaine Lafage has been in existence since 1798. The estate is characterised by 3 different and emblematic terroirs. This is the very best in terms of the diversity of Roussillon soils, which the very big names in the sector know and recommend. The Lafage estate is the most successful independent vineyard in France over the last 10 years at the prestigious Concours Général Agricole in Paris, with 51 gold medals since 2004. Lafage no longer has to prove itself: since 2009, 24 wines have been cited in the well-known Guide Hachette, not to mention Robert Parker, who has fallen in love with these wines.
