Description
This Pouilly Fumé Ladoucette magnum has a brilliant color with pale gold and green reflections. The nose is complex and mineral, including the nose of flint characteristic of the great Pouilly Fumé wines, followed by notes of white flowers (elderberry, hawthorn). The palate is fresh and mineral from the start and evolves into citrus fruits. On the finish we find fat, volume, liveliness and iodine notes that go perfectly with a seafood platter. The grape variety cultivated in the AOC Pouilly-Fumé is Sauvignon Blanc. The richness of the soil indeed gives some wines an odor of flint, a typical scent of the spark produced by the shock of a flint.
