With this bottling, Thompson Brothers showcases a unique expression from Ardmore, a Highland distillery whose style is characterised by subtle peat and malty notes. The choice of a refill cask ensures that the whisky’s characteristics remain prominent, without its profile being overshadowed by overly pronounced woody aromas.

The nose opens with caramel and orange, accompanied by a hint of pepper and a subtle smokiness. The palate continues with spices, citrus zest and a subtle peatiness, with accents sometimes described as petrol-like. The salty finish provides an interesting contrast, prolonged by a hint of pear. This combination of smoke, freshness and fruit makes this bottle an original discovery for lovers of independent Scotch whiskies.

Distilled in January 2009 and bottled in January 2023, this 13-year-old single malt is 50% ABV and comes in a 70 cl bottle. Only 249 bottles were produced.
