Description

Rum RENEGADE 3 years 2020 HABITATION VELIER, this pure cane juice rum is produced in pot still in 2020 and bottled in 2023 by the new pioneering distillery of Mark Reynier, the founder of the Irish Whiskey WATERFORD range.

This rum has been aged in 3 types of barrels. Mostly ex Bourbon barrels and also new American oak barrels and new French oak barrels.

The nose is floral, honeyed, medicinal and vanilla all at the same time. the second nose after more aeration, evokes fresh cane and exotic fruits, including coconut and pineapple.

The palate is lively, we find notes of spices, a hint of ginger gives fullness then slightly sweet notes appear, the finish takes us towards notes of cocoa and vanilla.
