Les Jardins de Babylone is a sweet Jurançon and is already a legendary wine. Here the 2009 vintage
The nose is very marked by citrus, exotic fruits, honey and a touch of cinnamon. The mouth confirms the olfactory impressions, this Jurancon wine is round and balanced between the sweetness and the acidity of the finish and of course a touch of minerality which marks the Dagueneau style. The 3 ha vineyard is set up on terraces on the slopes of the village of Aubertin on the heights of Pau, renowned for the particular liveliness of the wines produced there. Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau continues the work of his father Didier with the help of Guy Pautrat. Manual harvest by successive sorting, fermentation in new wood in different containers that were dear to Didier Dagueneau, among other half-muids and cigars, maturing in wood for 16 to 18 months. This Jurançon rose without problem at the level of what the domain offers cauhapé and that's an understatement ... 100% Petit Manseng, manual harvest. This wine is low alcohol 11.5 ° and is perfectly balanced.
