Les Restanques de Pibarnon 2020 is the second wine from Château de Pibarnon, situated in the hills above Bandol. This red wine features Mourvèdre, the appellation’s signature grape variety, complemented by Grenache to add roundness and fruitiness. The nose opens with notes of black cherry, plum and Mediterranean spices. The palate is harmonious, with an elegant structure and already supple tannins. This is a more approachable Bandol, perfect for discovering the estate’s style.

Description

Pibarnon Bandol The Restanques is a dark and deep wine with slightly velvety highlights. This second wine from Château Pibarnon is powerful with aromas of black fruits, spices, licorice and cinnamon on the nose. This sensual and sweet olfactory examination reveals a nice mouthfeel. At the tasting, the attack of this red Bandol  is indeed pronounced, ample with a spicy and very regulated finish.
