Domaine Viticole Gilles Robin

This is the family name of the winegrower Gilles Robin, who founded the estate in 1920 when he bought 1? 3 hectares of vines to produce his own wine. Over the years, the estate has grown to cover some twenty hectares, with vines in the Croze Hermitage, Cornas and Saint-Peray appellations. The vines on the estate are an average of 40 years old and are planted with Syrah, Marsanne and Roussane.

Marsanne White Rhône Valley wine

Giles Robin's Marsanne is, of course, a 100% Marsanne grown on granite slopes at an altitude of around 450 metres. The entire harvest is carried out by hand to select the finest grapes. The wine is then pressed directly and fermented at low temperature. The wine then spends around twenty days in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats before being matured for around 6 months in the cellar. Tasting the Marsanne Gilles Robin offers a fresh, flowery nose with fruity, flowery aromas.
