The history of Domaine Viticole UBY

The creation of the UBY estate dates back to 1956, when Mr André Dubosc bought 24 hectares of vineyards in the south-west of France with a passion for viticulture. The UBY brand takes its name from a small stream flowing close to the vineyard where UBY wines are produced. From year to year, the estate has grown, thanks in particular to the new owners in 1990, the Baumann family.

Presentation of UBY N°2 Chardonnay Chenin

This white wine from the UBY estate is produced in the Côtes de Gascogne region of south-west France. Uby n°2 is a blend of 2 grape varieties grown by the estate: Chardonnay, a grape variety known and appreciated worldwide for its fresh fruit flavours, and Chenin, another grape variety from the Loire region that brings acidity, freshness and fresh white fruit. The blend of these 2 grape varieties makes UBY 2 a dry, fresh and well-balanced white wine. UBY n°2 goes easily with an aperitif, seafood, fish, poultry or light dishes such as salads.
