This Cuvée Elisabeth Chambellan from Domaine du Père Caboche is a red Châteauneuf du Pape with a beautiful ruby ​​red color with bluish tints. The nose requires a little airing before delivering delicious notes of fresh and jammy red fruits (raspberry, blackberry and cherry) and spicy notes. The mouth is of great elegance. The discrete start gradually gives way to a beautiful volume, generous and ample. The tannins are very fine and racy. We find the notes of jam, increased notes of fruit in the brandy. There is a long finish on the palate, liquorice and spice. A great wine with elegance. It consists of a symphony of 13 grape varieties: 60% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, and 5% Cinsault, Counoise, Muscardin, Vaccarèse, Terret Noir, and some varieties of white grapes: Bourboulenc, Clairette, Grenache blanc , Roussanne and Picpoul
