Santenay Rouge 1er Cru "La Comme" by Domaine Michelot. A superb red Santenay produced by the Michelot family who have been compiling their knowledge of the terroir for the 6 generation. Historically, Domaine Michelot is best known for its Meursault and Puligny Montrachet, but it has been demonstrated that Domaine Michelot knows how to work Pinot Noir with this Santenay Rouge, aged in barrels for one year (including 35% new barrels). The plot of this 1er Cru "La Comme" is located on the edge of Santenay and Chassagne-Montrachet.
