Tepuy Monumento is a premium rum from Venezuela inspired by the famous tepuis, those impressive table-top mountains that dominate the landscapes of Canaima National Park and are among the world’s oldest geological formations. Crafted from carefully selected sugar cane molasses and aged in Venezuela’s tropical climate, this rum reveals a generous aromatic palette blending vanilla, caramel, dried fruit, cocoa, honey and mild spices. An elegant cuvée that expresses the full richness of the Venezuelan terroir.

Description

A rich, indulgent and perfectly balanced Venezuelan rum

Tepuy Monumento has a brilliant amber colour with mahogany highlights. The nose reveals generous aromas of vanilla, caramel, cane sugar, honey, toasted nuts, cocoa and dried fruit, complemented by notes of precious wood and delicate spices.

On the palate, the attack is round and velvety. Flavours of buttered caramel, vanilla, dates, figs, dark chocolate and cinnamon develop harmoniously with a lovely freshness. Tropical ageing lends depth and balance, whilst the woody notes remain elegant and perfectly integrated. The finish is long, warm and lingering, allowing the sweet spices, cocoa and candied fruits to come to the fore.

Served neat, slightly chilled or with a single ice cube, this rum is the perfect accompaniment to dark chocolate, a cigar, a coffee-based dessert or a walnut tart.
