Description
Bergerie de l'Hortus White Languedoc Wine. The nose of the Bergerie de l'Hortus in white is very aromatic, very expressive. A little exotic fruit and floral notes. On the palate we find these aromas of mango, apricot and white peach with a nice balance between acidity and freshness for this wine from the hortus estate. Grape varieties: Chardonnay 30%, Sauvignon 30%, Viognier 30%, Roussanne 10%. The Domaine de l'Hortus is located on the heights of the hinterland of Montpellier, in the Languedoc region, near Pic Saint Loup and Mont Hortus. The Domaine de l'Hortus is one of the emblematic areas of the Coteaux du Languedoc appellation and it has made the reputation of Pic St Loup. The Orliac family dared a bet that many considered crazy in the early 90s, but this area of 50 hectares of limestone oriented northeast turns out to be a marvel.
