Description

Domaine Trimbach Riesling "Clos Ste Hune" 2018. This cuvée is one of Domaine Trimbach's star cuvées, but it breaks the rule of the great Trimbach cuvées because it is made exclusively from the Riesling grape variety planted on the Rosacker limestone terroir in the Hunawihr Grand Cru. The south-facing aspect of this terroir, combined with its fabulous 1.67 ha, produces a wine that is discreet in its youth, needing at least 10 years to reach its peak. Then it reveals a perfect harmony between great concentration of fruit, lots of subtle minerality and incredible length.
